We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our house, imposed on the bulk (me & my father) by the minority (my mother). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two homes throughout the street. I began to choose up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who stroll past the home. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would disrupt me now, and say that many women at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other females. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
