We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our home, imposed on the majority (me & my dad) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two houses throughout the street. I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past your home. I began with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would disrupt me now, and say that many ladies in the house do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have two replies. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and after that beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always very first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Then last on this site is the separated house where Steve and Mandy cope with their two teenage kids. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
