We have a no smoking policy in our house, enforced on the bulk (me & my dad) by the minority (my mom). This suggests that whenever we wish to smoke, we need to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. After smoking practically continuously when the depression set in, I started to see the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women went about their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past your home. I began with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and say that many women in your home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have 2 replies. On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. She recently separated from her spouse and remains in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I have not introduced myself yet, so now would be a good time. I'm John (28 ), and I cope with my mum Chrissie (45) and daddy Bob (52 ). Next along are some newbies. I never spoke with him, although what I'm about to inform you, so this is the last time I discuss him.
