November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past your house. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and state that a lot of women in the house do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have two replies.
