After smoking cigarettes practically continuously when the depression set in, I started to see the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females set about their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past your house.
