After smoking cigarettes nearly constantly when the anxiety set in, I started to discover the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I started to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies set about their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would interrupt me now, and say that a lot of females at home do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 detached (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and after that beside that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage children.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. She just recently separated from her other half and is in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I have not presented myself yet, so now would be a great time.
