I had nothing to do, nowhere to go, and loads of time to kill. I started to get depressed.

We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our home, implemented on the majority (me & my father) by the minority (my mother). From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two houses throughout the street. I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past your house. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and state that most women at home do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have two replies. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this website is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage kids.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
