November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
