We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second thought. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past your house. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and say that a lot of ladies in the house do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have 2 replies. One, I'm male, and 2, you don't know the half of all of it. I think it's time I offered you a complete image of our street and individuals who survive on it. It will come in beneficial later. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
