I began to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past your house. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat.
