From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. After smoking almost continuously when the anxiety embeded in, I began to see the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I started to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would disrupt me now, and say that a lot of females at house do what I do, talk and stop with the other females. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always very first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this website is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. She recently separated from her spouse and remains in the process of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I haven't introduced myself yet, so now would be a great time.
