From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. After cigarette smoking almost continuously when the depression embeded in, I started to notice the comings and goings of the people in the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past your house. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat.
