We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a 2nd idea. Setting off to work every day, concerned more about what I was going to do with the day rather than what my neighbours would be up to. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and state that the majority of ladies in the house do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and 2, you don't know the half of everything. I believe it's time I offered you a total photo of our street and the people who reside on it. It will come in useful later on. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
