We have a no smoking policy in our home, enforced on the majority (me & my father) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 houses throughout the street. I started to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past your house. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and state that a lot of ladies at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have 2 replies. One, I'm male, and two, you do not understand the half of all of it. I think it's time I gave you a complete picture of our street and the people who reside on it. It will come in useful later on. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this website is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
