We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second idea. After smoking nearly continuously when the anxiety set in, I started to notice the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I began to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women set about their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past your house. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and state that many ladies in your home do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't know the half of all of it. I think it's time I gave you a total image of our street and the people who survive on it. It will come in helpful later on. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and then next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this website is the detached home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage kids.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
