We all accompany this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a reservation. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up till September, I had actually been just like you. I had nothing to do, nowhere to go, and loads of time to kill. I began to get depressed.

We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our house, imposed on the bulk (me & my dad) by the minority (my mother). This means that whenever we wish to smoke, we need to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. After cigarette smoking almost continuously when the depression embeded in, I began to see the comings and goings of the people in the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and state that many women at home do what I do, talk and stop with the other females. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and after that beside that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this website is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
