We all support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a doubt. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. Up until September, I had actually been just like you. I began to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females set about their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would disrupt me now, and say that many women at home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women.
