We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a second idea. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and say that many women at house do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and after that beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Then last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy cope with their 2 teenage sons. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. She recently separated from her partner and remains in the procedure of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I haven't presented myself yet, so now would be a great time.
