We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a 2nd thought. I started to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females went about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past your home. I started with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would disrupt me now, and say that a lot of females in your home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have 2 replies. One, I'm male, and 2, you don't understand the half of everything. I believe it's time I offered you a complete picture of our street and individuals who reside on it. It will come in useful later on. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Then last on this website is the removed house where Steve and Mandy cope with their 2 teenage boys. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
