We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a reservation. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. In the 3rd week, a despair began to creep in. I had absolutely nothing to do, no place to go, and loads of time to kill. I started to get depressed.

We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our home, enforced on the majority (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two homes across the street. I began to choose up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past your house. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would disrupt me now, and state that a lot of females in your home do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and 2, you do not know the half of all of it. I believe it's time I provided you a total image of our street and the people who live on it. It will come in useful later on. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and after that next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
