We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a 2nd thought. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past the home. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would disrupt me now, and say that most females at home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Then last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy deal with their 2 teenage children. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
