From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 homes throughout the street. I started to choose up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would interrupt me now, and say that many women at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Then last on this site is the detached home where Steve and Mandy deal with their 2 teenage boys. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
