In the third week, a despair began to creep in. I had nothing to do, no place to go, and loads of time to eliminate. I began to get depressed.

We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our house, implemented on the bulk (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mother). From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 houses throughout the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of individuals who stroll past your home. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. She recently separated from her spouse and is in the process of moving. They were a couple, in their late 30's, early 40's, and they appeared to keep themselves to themselves. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City. I never talked to him, despite the fact that what I'm about to tell you, so this is the last time I discuss him.
