November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past your house. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and say that most ladies in the house do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have two replies.
