With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many individuals would interrupt me now, and state that the majority of women at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other females. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this website is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
