November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most individuals would interrupt me now, and state that most females at house do what I do, talk and stop with the other ladies. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Then last on this website is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
