November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. She recently separated from her husband and is in the process of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I have not introduced myself yet, so now would be a good time. They were a couple, in their late 30's, early 40's, and they appeared to keep themselves to themselves. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City. I never ever spoke to him, although what I'm about to inform you, so this is the last time I discuss him.
