From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two houses across the street. After smoking practically constantly when the depression embeded in, I started to see the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I started to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies set about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who stroll past the home. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. She just recently separated from her partner and remains in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I have not presented myself yet, so now would be a great time. Obviously, whenever I talked to them, I utilized terms like a neighbour to bridge this space in my knowledge. They were a couple, in their late 30's, early 40's, and they seemed to keep themselves to themselves. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City. I never ever spoke with him, despite the fact that what I'm about to inform you, so this is the last time I discuss him.
