With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females set about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past your house. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and say that the majority of women in your home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have two replies. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly very first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Then last on this site is the detached home where Steve and Mandy cope with their two teenage sons. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
