We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second idea. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who stroll past your house. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and say that most ladies in the house do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and 2, you do not know the half of all of it. I believe it's time I gave you a total image of our street and individuals who survive on it. It will come in useful later. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and then next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage kids.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
