I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and say that many women in your home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and 2, you do not know the half of all of it. I believe it's time I gave you a complete picture of our street and individuals who survive on it. It will come in beneficial later on. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
