With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and say that many women at home do what I do, stop and chat with the other females.
