We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a 2nd idea. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who stroll past the home. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and say that many ladies at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other ladies. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 detached (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always very first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Then last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy cope with their 2 teenage children. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. She recently separated from her husband and remains in the procedure of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I haven't presented myself yet, so now would be a great time. I'm John (28 ), and I deal with my mum Chrissie (45) and dad Bob (52 ). Next along are some newcomers. At this time in November, I didn't understand their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself. Naturally, whenever I spoke to them, I used terms like a neighbour to bridge this gap in my knowledge. I never spoke to him, even though what I'm about to inform you, so this is the last time I discuss him.
