We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second idea. I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females set about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past your house. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and state that a lot of ladies in your home do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't know the half of it all. I think it's time I gave you a total picture of our street and individuals who live on it. It will come in helpful in the future. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and after that beside that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
