I started to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women went about their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the home. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of individuals would interrupt me now, and state that most females at home do what I do, stop and chat with the other ladies. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Last on this website is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage children. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. She recently separated from her husband and is in the process of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I have not introduced myself yet, so now would be a great time.
