November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past the home. I began with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and state that most ladies at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
