With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women set about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and say that most ladies at home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you do not understand the half of everything. I believe it's time I provided you a complete image of our street and the people who reside on it. It will can be found in beneficial later on. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 removed (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and after that beside that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
