We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a 2nd thought. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies set about their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and say that many women at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. I have 2 replies. One, I'm male, and two, you do not know the half of it all. I believe it's time I offered you a complete image of our street and the people who survive on it. It will come in useful later on. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this website is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. She recently separated from her spouse and is in the procedure of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I have not presented myself yet, so now would be a good time. I'm John (28 ), and I deal with my mum Chrissie (45) and dad Bob (52 ). Next along are some beginners. At this time in November, I didn't know their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself. I never spoke to him, despite the fact that what I'm about to tell you, so this is the last time I mention him.
