With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and state that the majority of females at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have 2 replies. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this website is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage kids.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
