With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women went about their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who stroll past the home. I began with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat.
