We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a 2nd thought. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females tackled their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and state that many females at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 structures in all). She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Then last on this site is the removed home where Steve and Mandy cope with their 2 teenage kids. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. She recently separated from her other half and is in the process of moving.
