We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a second thought. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our house, enforced on the bulk (me & my father) by the minority (my mom). This means that whenever we wish to smoke, we have to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two homes across the street. After cigarette smoking almost continuously when the depression embeded in, I began to notice the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies set about their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past your home. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and say that most females in the house do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have 2 replies. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly very first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Then last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy cope with their 2 teenage boys. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. She just recently separated from her partner and is in the procedure of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I have not introduced myself yet, so now would be a good time. I'm John (28 ), and I cope with my mum Chrissie (45) and dad Bob (52 ). Next along are some newcomers. At this time in November, I didn't know their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself.
