November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and state that most women in your home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have two replies. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly very first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this website is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
