I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who stroll past the home. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and say that most females at house do what I do, chat and stop with the other females. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always very first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Last on this website is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
