We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second idea. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women went about their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would disrupt me now, and say that many females at home do what I do, talk and stop with the other ladies. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always very first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. She just recently separated from her partner and is in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I haven't presented myself yet, so now would be a good time. I'm John (28 ), and I cope with my mum Chrissie (45) and dad Bob (52 ). Next along are some newcomers. At this time in November, I didn't know their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself. I never talked to him, despite the fact that what I'm about to inform you, so this is the last time I mention him.
