We all support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a doubt. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. Up until September, I had been just like you. Then in the 3rd week, a malaise began to creep in. I had nothing to do, nowhere to go, and loads of time to kill. I started to get depressed.

We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our house, enforced on the majority (me & my dad) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two homes across the street. I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would disrupt me now, and state that many ladies at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other ladies. It's a extremely small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and then next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage children.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. She recently separated from her husband and remains in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I haven't presented myself yet, so now would be a good time. I never spoke to him, even though what I'm about to tell you, so this is the last time I discuss him.
