After smoking cigarettes practically constantly when the depression set in, I started to notice the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies set about their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
