November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past your home. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would disrupt me now, and state that many females at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have 2 replies. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Then last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy deal with their two teenage kids. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
