All of us accompany this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a reservation. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up up until September, I had been just like you. The very first few weeks were fine I. managed to get all the little tasks that accumulate done. In the third week, a malaise began to creep in. I had absolutely nothing to do, nowhere to go, and loads of time to kill. I started to get depressed.

We have a no smoking policy in our home, enforced on the bulk (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mother). This means that whenever we want to smoke, we need to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two homes across the street. After smoking practically constantly when the depression set in, I started to discover the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I started to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of individuals who stroll past your house. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and say that many ladies at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have 2 replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't know the half of it all. I believe it's time I offered you a total image of our street and individuals who live on it. It will come in useful in the future. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
