We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a 2nd idea. I started to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women tackled their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and state that a lot of females at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. I have 2 replies.
