From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two homes across the street. After smoking nearly constantly when the depression embeded in, I started to discover the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females tackled their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who stroll past your home. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat.
