From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two homes across the street. I started to choose up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat.
