November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
