We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our home, implemented on the majority (me & my father) by the minority (my mother). This suggests that whenever we want to smoke, we need to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two houses across the street. After smoking cigarettes almost continually when the depression set in, I started to discover the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I started to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past your house. I began with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and state that many ladies in your home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have 2 replies.
