We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second idea. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females set about their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of individuals would disrupt me now, and state that many females at home do what I do, talk and stop with the other females. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and then beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Then last on this website is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage children. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. She recently separated from her husband and remains in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I have not introduced myself yet, so now would be a good time. I'm John (28 ), and I deal with my mum Chrissie (45) and daddy Bob (52 ). Next along are some newcomers. At this time in November, I didn't understand their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself. Naturally, whenever I spoke to them, I used terms like a neighbour to bridge this gap in my knowledge. They were a couple, in their late 30's, early 40's, and they appeared to keep themselves to themselves. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City. I never spoke with him, even though what I'm about to tell you, so this is the last time I mention him.
