We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a second idea. After smoking cigarettes almost continually when the depression embeded in, I started to discover the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females set about their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past your home. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and state that the majority of ladies in the house do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and 2, you don't understand the half of all of it. I think it's time I provided you a complete photo of our street and the people who survive on it. It will come in beneficial in the future. It's a extremely small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage children.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
