We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. She just recently separated from her other half and is in the procedure of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I have not presented myself yet, so now would be a good time. I'm John (28 ), and I cope with my mum Chrissie (45) and daddy Bob (52 ). Next along are some newbies. At this time in November, I didn't understand their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself. Obviously, whenever I spoke to them, I used terms like a neighbour to bridge this space in my knowledge. They were a couple, in their late 30's, early 40's, and they appeared to keep themselves to themselves. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City. I never talked to him, despite the fact that what I'm about to tell you, so this is the last time I discuss him.
