November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past your house. I started with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and state that a lot of women at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. I have two replies. On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
