November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would disrupt me now, and state that the majority of females at home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. It's a extremely small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
