All of us support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a reservation. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. I had absolutely nothing to do, nowhere to go, and loads of time to kill. I began to get depressed.

We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our house, imposed on the bulk (me & my dad) by the minority (my mom). This means that whenever we wish to smoke, we have to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. After smoking cigarettes practically continuously when the depression set in, I began to observe the comings and goings of the people in the street. I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females tackled their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past the home. I began with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most individuals would disrupt me now, and say that the majority of females at home do what I do, talk and stop with the other females. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and after that beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Then last on this site is the removed home where Steve and Mandy deal with their two teenage boys. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
