We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a second idea. Setting off to work every day, worried more about what I was going to do with the day rather than what my neighbours would be up to. I started to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women set about their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past the home. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and state that many ladies at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other ladies. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and after that next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Then last on this website is the detached house where Steve and Mandy deal with their two teenage children. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's house. She just recently separated from her spouse and is in the process of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I haven't presented myself yet, so now would be a great time. I never ever spoke to him, although what I'm about to tell you, so this is the last time I discuss him.
