From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 homes throughout the street. I began to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and say that most women in your home do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have two replies. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage children.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
