From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. After cigarette smoking nearly continuously when the depression embeded in, I started to notice the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies set about their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past your house. I started with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and say that a lot of ladies in your home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have 2 replies.
