I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women went about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many individuals would interrupt me now, and state that the majority of women at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other ladies. Then last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy deal with their 2 teenage sons. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
